Wolf Blood (1925)

The nights are getting longer, giving our favorite beasts of the night, werewolves, a little longer to stalk their prey. Join the Phantom Erik as he hits this small, mid-decade independent film, 1925's 'Wolf Blood', directed and starring George Chesebro. The film tells the story of a logging mill operator in the midst of a cruel rivalry, which ends up seeing him in need of a quick blood transfusion. When the only creature available to donate blood is a wild she-wolf, things start to get a bit 'hairy'! We tackle the broad topic of werewolves along the way, discussing not only some popular films, but a few pieces of literature as well for the bookworm out there. Cuddle up by the fire and take a listen, and if you hear any howling at the moon, you just may need to turn your headphones up a bit louder...
