Deep Red (1975)

Put your black gloves on once more as the Phantom Erik and Lester suit up for another giallo thrill ride in 1975's "Profondo Rosso", known in the States as Deep Red. This cornerstone of the giallo style was written and directed by its reigning master, Dario Argento, and as such he receives our latest director's spotlight. In the episode, we go over Argento's career and all its ebbs and flows, while also recounting this acclaimed masterpiece about a concert pianist in Italy bearing witness to a murder, and as a result becoming a target for the killer's next crime. Will the Phantom and Lester give in to the master, or will they see red with this giallo thriller?
