Dead Men Walk (1943)

You're in for a treat this week: not only do we have one George Zucco but two, as identical twins Lloyd and Elwyn face off in this underrated Poverty Row flick, 1943's "Dead Men Walk". Zucco was a prolific actor in the 1930s, but by the '40s he was moving into the realm of horror and in a few short years would become quite a cult favorite. Elwyn is a vampire, returned from the dead thanks to spending his life working in the occult, and his first mission is to turn his own brother, a good-natured doctor, and his sweet, innocent niece. Join in on the discussion as the Phantom Erik and Lester Reaper dabble a bit themselves in the occult, going over its influence and resurgence in horror beginning in the '40s.
