Groove Magazine – GROOVE Podcast 494 – Sally C
Berlin magazine Groove has been going strong covering electronic music and club culture since 1989. As the musical times have evolved, so has the platform, and its ongoing ‘Groove Podcast’ – nearing 500 episodes – allows them the space to dissect the great electronic minds of the day. On the latest edition, Groove interviews Sally C, who’s been tearing up Berlin’s club scene with bangers through her Big Saldo’s Chunkers record label. She also recently released a joint EP with the UK’s Eliza Rose! Tune in for some hypnotic Progressive House and insights into what’s moving Berlin’s clubs right now.
Melomaniacs – DJ Shed 74 – Monday Night Club 74
Every Monday night, the Melomaniacs get jazzier than New York’s Cotton Club in the 1920s. Or London’s Ronnie Scott’s in the present day, to be more current. Courtesy of DJ Shed 74, you’re treated to steaming Jazz fusion, Jazz Dance and Latin Jazz tunes to soundtrack your evening. It’s smooth, fast-paced and expands the parameters of what modern Jazz can sound like. One for the heads!
Tiësto – PRISMATIC 007
Did you know that the iconic Dutch electronic music producer Tiësto uploads to Mixcloud? Not only that, but he has a brand new weekly mix series called ‘Prismatic’ – what a treat! Here, you can find the tracks that Tiësto is digging at the moment as well as new and unreleased vibes from the man himself. Press play if you want to be transported to a stadium in the middle of the summer with not a care in the world.
Our Yard – V Rocket & King Original @ Marcus Garvey Centre, 1989
Built in 1931, Nottingham’s Marcus Garvey Centre has bore witness to multiple eras of history in its near 100-year run. Primarily a community hub for the city’s African and Caribbean communities, the sounds and movements that have emanated from them have found a safe home through the centre. One night in 1989, the world famous King Original Soundsystem pulled up for an education on all things Reggae, Roots and Ragga. The audio was archived by Nottingham-based platform Our Yard, preserving vital points of connection and resistance for Black communities.
Samewave Radio – Aberrations with perrette
Portland’s Samewave Radio beams out all assortments of vibes as it continues to grow as a beacon of its creative community. One of its residents, perette, came through for his regular ‘Aberrations’ show and it’s a bouncy blend of R&B, Hip-Hop and complete left turns. Anyone who can blend Too $hort and Lonnie Liston Smith with the Cocteau Twins is a winner in our books.
KLOF Magazine – KLOF No. 73
KLOF Magazine – fka Folk Radio UK – is an eclectic contemporary music and culture zine, exploring the weird and wonderful world of modern Folk, Spiritual Jazz and avant-garde, psychedelic and experimental sounds. Extremely leftfield, its musical trips span the globe in the search of the ethereal tunes and moods that stay with you. The 73rd edition of their mix series lays bare some deeply emotional tones and textures, perfect as the mild Spring sun starts to melt the Winter away.
1BTN – Latin Lovers w/ Selvasistema ft El Melting Pot – 24th February 2026
Valentine’s Day has come and gone, but love radiates all year round. The Latin Lovers aka DJ duo Selvasistema seem to think so too. They blessed Brighton-based radio station 1BTN with a hypnotic two hour fusion of Cumbia, Salsa and Reggaeton to get you in your feels and tapping your feet. Then, straight from Medellin, Colombia, El Melting Pot came through for a guest set, bringing the South American heat with him.
