We’re excited to announce a fresh new update to the Mixcloud App: the For You tab! If you’re a listener on Mixcloud, you can get directly to more of the music you love with a new personalized Home view that places your favorite sounds at the forefront.
Whether it’s the latest radio show from your favorite DJ, that classic mix you rinsed last summer or a live stream series you’re looking for, the For You tab has all of this and much more music inspiration right at your fingertips.
The update is just one step in our mission to better celebrate and center listeners’ favorite DJs and artists, while creating the best possible listening experience for everyone who uses the Mixcloud App. If you’re a creator who uploads mixes, shows or live streams you’ll also benefit as your music will be seen more directly by your fans within the App.

Personalized picks based on your favorite creators
As well as access to the latest shows from creators you follow and forgotten gems from your listening history, you can now check out recommended shows based on who you follow. Check out what’s in Hot Right Now to see your favorite creator’s favorite radio shows or mixes, and get a feel of the artists and DJs inspiring them.
Trending and hand-picked global selections
Tap into a whole host of new music from across the globe. Check out trending shows across genres, curated playlists of chart-toppers where you are in the world and hand-picked selections by the Mixcloud team. Whether you’re based in Spain or Australia, you’ll see the most popular uploads local to you. Meanwhile, if you’re a passionate music head looking for new music and perspectives, the On Your Airwaves selections place radio stations around the world at the forefront with shows to check out.
Live streams happening right now
Live Now makes sure you never miss a live stream. It recommends live streams happening right now on Mixcloud Live from creators you follow – and creators you don’t – that you can tune into, directly within the App. We’ve created an entry point to your favorite artists’ live streams without you having to leave the App or use your web browser, streamlining your listening experience and allowing you into the action immediately.
Extra exposure for creators, too
If you’re a DJ, radio host or artist, the For You tab helps surface your content to your fans. As a result, your shows can be heard by the people you cater them to, from mixes to live streams. More of your fans can see when you are currently live streaming or when your latest show is up, meaning you can now attract more viewers to your content. Not only that, but with our curated show and playlist sections, more listeners around the globe can find your content, gaining you new followers.
