What happen to Mirrors? Love those guys. Another excellent job on your mix! I just bought New Order's new album and Tenek new song. Looking forward to Namnambulu new album. On my first listen to New Order's new album, it's really good. Back to old Synthpop (I still called it New Wave..lol) sound and some very original synth sounds. My favorite song on album is "Unlearn This Hatred" Check it out.

Hi Scott, Mirrors split up after one of the band left, it's a shame really because they were a great band, lead singer James New has contributed vocals to tracks by Marsheaux and Fotonovela. New Order has slowly grown on me, very upbeat with a few stand out tracks and some not so good, my favourite tracks are, "Plastic", "Nothing But A Fool", "Unlearn This Hatred", "The Game" and "Superheated" (The best track on the album).

Glad you enjoyed the show and thanks for commenting.

another hour well spent - soft synth pop, a-ha, erasure, ultravox, but what caught my ear was Modovar, that was the closest I've heard anyone come close to sounding like erasure - and it was really good, like a really good erasure track. mirrors was a strong starting track, loved marsheaux - summer tune very pleasant and the other stand out track was future perfect - hunter. Dreamy closer but my fave was Doctor! Doctor! I mean how could it not be? :)

Thanks again for listening mate, Modovar by the way do a lot of Erasure & Yazoo covers in their live set. The singer doesn't half sound like Andy Bell doesn't he. I've no Future Perfect for some time, Simon & Rebecca are based in North Wales and have released a couple of very impressive albums. I love Marsheaux as you know. Thompson Twins brought out some brilliant singles in their day, Tom Bailey from the band has been doing live gigs as well.
