The Lemon Circus

been long enough not hearing Echo Beach - great to listen again to such a classic. Best year of our lives absolute top pop. Jimmy Somerville (strange I was listening to Red LP the other day and thinking how it was a shame his talent wasn't still current (not his politics you understand, just his musical pedigree) Forever Young another classic, do like the dance mix of that song. Toyah's only song I can ever correctl remember in pub quizes, The Dollar track was new to me quite enjoyable but my fave from this ensemble was ... Temptation - New Order just for the Whoooo-ooo-ooo-oooo! in the chorus :)

White Lion Radio

The "Red" album is superb Christian, probably my favourite Communards album, surprised you went for "Temptation" as your fave track, that said it is a dam fine track, always loved the Toyah track "It's A Mystery" :)

Joel Newnham

Shame on me, I hadn't heard the original of "Forever Young" before, I thought the Mr Hudson version in 2009 was the original :(. I don't remember hearing that New Order number before, great song, a line from that is sung in Trainspotting 1 when Renton has a come down. Always good to hear that Howard Jones number, and Martha and Icehouse. Smooth Criminal, 10/11 tracks from 'Bad' being top 40 hits, not bad eh? Wham's signature song to top it off, another great 80s playlist to enjoy Gary, thanks for posting.

White Lion Radio

Amazing that Michael Jackson released virtually every track off "Bad" was n't it, mind you it is an outstanding album, my favourite album of his infact. Good to hear comments on New Order's "Temptation" too. Glad you enjoyed the show Joel.
