Joel Newnham

Sandra, my favourite version of "Everlasting Love." U2, Gloria Estefan and some waste of studio time 90s boy band Worlds Apart also covered it and failed dismally. She was married to Michael Cretu, the man behind Enigma. Love to hate you was 90s but I guess, awesome as it is, you could break the rules. Never heard Living by Numbers before. So good to hear Funky Town, Who's Leaving Who?, Are Friends Electric? their podcasts are, Could you be loved, You Spin Me Round, tons of timeless classics on this one Gary.

Thanks Joel for the kind words about the show. I never knew Sandra had been married to Michael Cretu!

I think you've outdoen yourself - I was putting together those that were the acts standing on the #1 podium place receiving their gold e=medal and it collapsed under the weight of all those acts - so I'll mention the ones to receive runner up prizes:
Sandra - Everlasting Love
Imagination - Body Talk
David Grant - Watching You Watching Me
Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Welcome To The Pleasuredome
London Beat - I've Been Thinking About You
Really too many great tracks in this episode - my absolute fave from them all was Stephen Tin Tin Duffy - Kiss Me :) top top tune
