Thank You for listening and for the kind comments.

Joel Newnham

Well that was an 80s music history lesson and a half. Songs I haven't heard for ages, shame on me, and some that I didn't realise what they were because I didn't know the title or the artist. I love In Private, you would pick a Pet Shop Boys influenced song :). Haven't heart I Beg Your Pardon since Christian played it on one of his Sons of Music mixes. Safety Dance always reminds me of an episode of Family Guy where they rob a mansion, although it probably should be remembered for better things. Another great playlist Gary, thanks.

Thanks for your kind words Joel, I always thought "I beg Your Pardon" sounded like New Order, I liked the album the Pet Shop Boys produced with Dusty Springfield and their collaboration on "What Have I Done To Deserve This?" is a true classic. The good thing about 80s music is that it always rekindles memories.

The Lemon Circus

A couple I'd not heard before; imagination and that's the way I like it. those I had heard before were real classics. Hadn't heard lifeline in ages (I've sang it to myself a few times, but just not the same) I aslo sing cherry oh baby, einstein a go-go and mirror mirror, I really ought to stop :) kon kan, dusty and the wizzard fab. Flock of seagulls was my fave in this set

Thanks for your comments mate, hard not to disagree with you about A Flock Of Seagulls, definitely their best track, UB40 never really grabbed me for some reason. I have always loved the music of Imagination, a great R 'N' B band, Leee John, the singer is still doing touring. Glad you enjoyed the show.
