Great 80S!

White Lion Radio

Thank you for listening and glad you enjoyed the show.

The Lemon Circus

Cherish one of my fave Madonna tracks. A few songs I've possibly heard before but rare occasions: New Order - Age Of Consent, A Flock Of Seagulls - Modern Love Is Automatic and Japan - Nightporter
very piano sounding. Pretty sure I've not heard Shannon - Sweet Somebody or OMD - Waiting For The Man or U2 - BAd. Of course we had the classics Antmusic, Suspicious Minds, Head Over Heels. For this hour I'm going for Dancing With Tears In My Eyes, just an incredible tune :)

"Waiting For The Man" was a B Side on OMD's single "Messages", I think it is a cover of a Lou Reed song? The video Ultravox did for "Dancing With Tears In My Eyes" was brilliant, those were the days when pubs had Video Jukeboxes....remember them?

Joel Newnham

Good old Tears for Fears and a great one from Ultravox that I haven't heard for long enough. I can't help but like Madonna, her 80s stuff, not her recent songs, great way to end. Thanks for another great show Gary :)>

Glad you enjoyed it Joel and like you I prefer Madonna's earlier stuff and not her recent output.
