The Lemon Circus

Nice unwind to the hour with Livign in abox and Cars, the slow numbers :) The Human League - Darkness not heard before quite minimal rather than their usually high polished production. Still can't decide if Don't You (Forget About Me) is simple minds best track, they have a few top ones to consider. Hey You The Rock Steady Crew real memories here babysittign my young cousins - they were meant to be in bed with me just holding the fort, as soon as my Auntie left I'd go wake them and we'd go mad, push chair races, cushion fights, climbing on top the shed in the garden and they had a NOw that's what I cal music video - and that song kept gettign rewound so we could dance to it. About 20 odd years later my cousing at a family do took the time to tell me those days are some of his favourite childhood recollections - so it wasn't just me :) Chain Reaction and Sheila Take A Bow are played many many times by me still. Not heard, Good Morning Universe or The Chauffer, I can hear the vocal of Duran Duran but doesn't sound like any of their other stuff but it was pleasant enough.

White Lion Radio

Oh yes the 80s rekindle all sorts of memories, not all good either!!! I like "Alive & Kicking" by Simple Minds, that might shade Number one spot for me, where Simple Minds are concerned.

Joel Newnham

Do you happen to remember Erasure performing Chains of Love on Top of The Pops with Andy Bell wearing a top made of loads of multi coloured feathers?

The Lemon Circus

I have the erasure pop deluxe boxset with a DVD that contains their BBC totp appearances, so it's probably on there. But 'remember'? Possibly an image one would try and suppress :)

Joel Newnham

Less disturbing than the video to their version of "Take a chance on me"

White Lion Radio

I am fortunate.......I don't remember that Joel, however, I do remember the "Take A Chance On Me" video! hard to forgive Vince for that one!
