Adrian Croston

Excellent work! I love this type of playlist - More of them please!! Thank you! I was particularly thrilled to hear the pre fame West End Girls mix.

White Lion Radio

Thanks for listening Adrian. The version of "West End Girls" played is quite interesting, firstly it is a quicker version and of course they are some alternative lyrics, Stephen Hague who produced the "hit" version clearly slowed the pace of the track and as they say, the rest is history. There are plenty more 12 inch 80s shows as I have quite a big collection, really pleased you enjoy them.

The Lemon Circus

Never ever heard (51mins in..) " Who do you think you are—Joe Stalin?" on the pet shop boys song before. Incredible it would take this long. An incredible mix. with an almost jamming quality on it in parts. Just random keyboard palying. OK this set was interesting for me because I was looking to pull a 'pop' special together and brother beyond and bananarama where in there with these songfs (think I remember saying you should do a ten of the best stock aitken, waterman upload - these would defo be in there) oh and the wham tune - nice extended play on that one too. The only song I'd not heard before was Ultravox, however I'm not always aware of some of the remixes. Good life was as fresh as any of today's DJs which I'm tapping away to as I type :) another top batch of top decade tunes matey

White Lion Radio

Thanks for listening mate and pleased you enjoyed the tunes. That version of "West End Girls" was a version they recorded before signing to the Parlophone Record Label, they re-recorded the track and of course the new version made Number 1, they also altered some of the lyrics. Hope you do a Pop Special as that would be brilliant.
