Like millions of people around the world, we were shocked to hear of the passing of David Bowie on January 10th 2015. His music has had a profound effect on music fans for decades and rightly deserves the status of "Iconic Legend".

As a tribute we present this special show, in which we play our favourite Bowie tracks from across his career and hope you enjoy our selection.

The Lemon Circus

Discovered Bowie when I was a student and only through greatest hits, a fair few in this set that I enjoyed the most Blue Jean, China Girl, Absolute Beginners - everyone has overlooked the Tin Machine years???? I have a few friends who are gutted over the news, they thought only the highest of Bowie, but for me someone who had their fame well and truly before my time. I quite enjoyed the Hallo Spaceboy, Hearts Filthy Lesson, Buddha of Suburbia mid-nineties era a time when I was growing up - I guess he meant something to each and every one of us. RIP, fitting tribute Gary

Thanks mate, probably for me I enjoyed late 70s, 80s and early 90s of Bowie's work, my favourite albums are "Low", when I played that album after buying iy I was blown away by it, probably because it is pretty much electronic and of course his "Scary Monsters" probably just shades "Low" for best Bowie album. I couldn't believe he had died and so unexpected, the word legend is often banded about without merit but in Bowie's case he is a legend, no question. I've heard a couple of tracks off his last album "Blackstar" and wasn't keen although "Lazarus" does have its moments.
