Joel Newnham

Rest in Peace Dusty Springfield, she had such a good voice

White Lion Radio

Agree with you Joel on that, I especially like the work she did with the Pet Shop Boys.

The Lemon Circus

A great hour mate filled with top tunes, Michale Jackson had not heard in ages, great to hear Bucks Fizz (not played a lot these days) we are detective another old fave of mine along with the Nik Kershaw closer. But the best was Electronic - getting Away with it, but it could be I always listen to What have I done to deserve this - so too close to call. Interesting Marc Almond song - the office heard it and it went on to the usual discussion :) http://www.snopes.com/music/artists/rockstar.asp

Oh I remember that story Christian! He has released a lot of brilliant solo singles many of which only made the lower places in the charts, his latest album "The Velvet Trail" is outstanding and definitely a throwback to his Soft Cell days, definitely worth investigating. Like you i'm a big PSB fan and never tire from hearing "What Have I Done To Deserve This?". "Getting Away With It" was a great collaboration with the Pet Shop Boys, they did another track together around the same time called "The Patience Of A Saint" which is brilliant and one you will enjoy.

As ever always enjoy our 80s banter on here and my thanks for listening a commenting. Gary
