The Lemon Circus

tracks 2, 4, 5, 7,8,10 and 11 all new to me, particularly enjoyed Ultravox, new order and Bowie. Think we were chatting about the stranglers recently - nice to hear that tune Skin Deep, cracking track. 3 perfect pop singles from the ladies Madonna, Belinda carlise (one of my faves from her) and Alison moyet but other than PSB opener, I'm going with Rage Hard as the winner, I would have it on repeat and that fantastic version of suffragette city or was that the 12" there was also an annoying song with burps on if I'm thinking of the same record - I had the pop out sleeve where fists popped up - may be worth something now perhaps a quid :)

Thanks for listening Christian and really pleased I have introduced some tracks you haven't heard before. FGTH fell apart after the "Rage Hard" single, which is a belting track, I still have the various 12 inch singles they released of "Two Tribes" which helped keep it at number 1 for 9 weeks or so. "Suffragette City" I think was on a 12 inch single and that was a powerful sounding track, like most of their tracks, mind you they did have Trevor Horn producing them! "Born To Run" was another fantastic cover they did which ended up on the debut album and I think a 12 inch single B Side. I don't recall the pop out sleeve So I suspect that could very well be collectable, might be worth checking rare records website.
