The Lemon Circus

3,6,7 and 9 were new to me on this set, so the 12" I couldn't compare to a radio edit but had a real nice retro feel. You kicked off with what has to be perfection dead or alive what a track, never tire from it - awesome in every way. A nice wham choice which isn't over played. Always love art of noise track but didn't hear rthe lyrics "oh to be in England in the summertime" one track that sums up the 80s has to be art of noise, quality track da da da but the best was last - and I'm the one person who would go on record as not being into dance music but when beat dis came out it was just so different - probably wouldn't notice it today - but back then just incredible and feels weird to sing along to it today just random oddities 'keep this frequency clear' and 'you play russian roulette zis vay' - brilliant!!!

Thanks for listening and commenting Christian, always thought Bomb The Bass were a great band that largely went unnoticed, "Say A Prayer" and "Don't Make Me Wait" were also superb singles. Glad I managed to find one or two tracks that were new to you. "Da Da Da" was a brilliant track and seeing 3 bald headed punks on Top Of The Pops do that song was classic, one of them died a couple of years ago.
