There's the difference between a song, melody and remix with experimental production - New Order pioneers Shellshock does all of that and perfectly. of course it'll be no surprise to say PSB is the crowning glory to this top set - heard this track too many to count - still sounding awesome! one of my kids faves too as they've had it drilled into them.

Glad you enjoyed the show mate and thanks for the comments. "When Smokey Sings" is a top track by ABC have to agree with you on that. "Waiting For A Train" I don't actually remember, it was my brother that told me about that track and suggested I play it, very surprised I missed it when it came out in the 80s. New Order & PSB, 2 of my fave bands. Nice to hear the kids are growing up to some proper music!

that Junior sounds a lot like Bros vocally - could just be me (pretty sure it isn't) also my comment on Kool & The Gang (other than their massive hits) I don't know a lot about them, but you've played a few recently and I like them - shame that I've missed out really. some great 80s tunes I go weak and Annie, but that Smoky Sings 12" version really was a gem, top production gave it a whole new dimension while keeping the charm - terrific :) waiting for a train had some nice melody, but a bit too experimental for me.
