The Lemon Circus

Soft Cell not nearly played enough on radio - and they had a very strong back catalogue - Erasure btw are my all time favorite musical act - have all their CD's 12", 7" etc - they will always be the best :) You have really taken time in your selection here because each one has a great extra gift in the 12" that has not taken away from the beautiful song that we are familiar with from the 7" (hope that makes sense) so we can still hear the original track with something splendid done to it with the mix - thankyou for sharing :)

The Lemon Circus

Paul Hardcastle took me right back to secondary school - Friday morning registration - smelling the geranium plants on the Science block windowsill and discussing top of the pops from the night before - how awsome everyone thought that song was - and you know - nearly 30 years in between - those secondary school kids knew good music when they heard it - I'd still have to agree with them - it rocks!

The Lemon Circus

Frankie - King of the 12" - that Rage Hard was a monster - as good as any from Welcome to the pleasuredome

The Lemon Circus

That Pet Shop Boys track is still so Gooooooood - and I often hear the usual nugget of pop trivia every Christmas how they stopped Fairytale of new york getting to number 1 - well if these people sat and listened to that track in it's entirety they may be of a different opinion - namely it is FANTASTIC - and that's why it outsold the pogues :)
