Most of us hate to wait, and often times it’s hard for us to see past our expectations of a “microwave God”. Because of this, our patience in suffering is something we should work towards developing. In doing so, we are able to be prepared for a season of suffering. Just because we are Christians doesn’t mean that we are free from suffering, yet we are tested constantly and need to develop this ability of having patience and resiliency. Pastor Rich Wilkerson, Jr. reminds us in James 5:7-11 about the importance of applying this to our daily lives.
