About the Author: Dr. Melinda Harper My journey to becoming a wife was difficult to say the least. At the time of writing this book, I have been married for sixteen years. We have two beautiful children, two dogs, great careers, and most people who see our marriage say that we make the perfect couple. Growing up, I always knew that one day I wanted to “be married.” Although I had very few examples of wives in my life and those on television, all I knew was that one glorious day, I would have a husband.
