I was first introduced to Sara Robalo by my good friend Lorraine Solomons from Success Express Music, one of London's best emerging music promoters. Sara was one of two acts who were shortlisted to appear as support acts for supreme band El Born at one of Success Express Music showcase nights at London's famous Waterrats Theatre, the very place where Bob Dylan first played in the UK in 1962.
Sara is from Portugal, but has lived in the UK for the past six years pursuing her musical career. An accomplished song writer, musician and singer, she describes her music as acoustic guitar-driven, folk-infused pop-rock. Sara writes songs that strike a chord with everyone, honest heart-felt lyrics about people, places and people in places.
Her debut EP Our Tree, is a collection of five self-penned songs showcasing her well-crafted and unique blend of folk-infused, acoustic guitar driven pop-rock, produced by Glenn Skinner (Boy George, Debbie Harry, Lighthouse Family)
