A recent trip to New Orleans got me to watch Easy Rider again. One of the defining films of the 1960s, Easy Rider portrayed the counterculture of the 1960s, showing drug use, psychedelic and otherwise, and employing cinematic techniques to convey those surreal experiences. The music featured in this episode of Turn Me On, Dead Man is a variety of current psychedelia, as artists continue to explore further the seemingly boundless range of psychedelic influences.
