KENNY EVERETT
BBC RADIO ONE
SUNDAY 9th JUNE 1968
10 am to 12 pm

Once upon a time we used to have REAL DJ's on the radio!
Real DJ's with imaginations and creativity.
Now of course anyone that can left click on a mouse and say "that was - this is" over the tracks that the computer is playing thinks they are a DJ !!
You want to hear a PROPER DJ ?
Then listen to two hours of THE master at work. The much missed Kenny Everett......
Back in the day's of Record's, Cart machines, and Revox tape machines.......
REAL talent, REAL skill...............
This is from the glory days of Radio One before they stupidly locked the door on him and turfed him out to go and shine brightly at CAPITAL .
Kenny's star STILL shines brightly.
RIP

Loved the 'noisy' Pams jingle "Music -belch too much". Never heard that one before! I have said this many times before, there has only ever been one Kenny Everett. Crazy genius, creative audio engineer, comedian, music lover of all genre's. To call him a mere DJ would be totally wrong, sadly missed by many but his spirit lives on. God Bless.
