When we look through the books of the Bible that record the life and ministry of Jesus, we often find Him doing extraordinary things by means of a very ordinary activity – walking. Every time we turn around we discover Jesus walking from one place to another. As soon as He gets settled in one place, He is up and moving to another. Jesus would even say of Himself that He had no place to lay His head (Matthew 8:20). When Jesus walked, He spoke some of His most impactful words to the disciples, taught some of His most unforgettable stories to those around Him, and demonstrated some of His greatest acts of grace and compassion to those who were hurting.
