Just about all of us have a desire to experience growth in our everyday lives as it relates to our relationships, our career, or our finances. For the most part, personal growth is just a matter of making commitments, establishing goals, following through, and measuring the results.
However, when it comes to the area of spiritual growth, this process becomes a bit more complicated. Maybe you have had someone come along and ask you this question: “So, how is your walk with the Lord doing?” If you are like most people, there have been moments when you were at a loss for words – you really weren’t sure how to respond, or at least you didn’t feel that you could be honest in your answer. It may come down to simply having no idea how your walk with the Lord is doing. What are you supposed to do in order to grow? How are you supposed to measure it? How do you know if you are doing well?
