The Bible tells us that we can all find grace to help us in our time of need. Most of the time, when we encounter grace, it meets the worst version of who we are. Nobody wants to label themselves as divorced, addicted, unemployed, angry, ashamed, or depressed. However, there are moments when one of those words could be used to describe any one of us. And still, grace is available.
The beautiful thing about grace is that it always meets us in a here – a moment when we have reached rock bottom – but it refuses to leave us there. Grace also promises us a there – a place of redemption, restoration, reconciliation, and hope.
