Ever dreamed of leaving your everyday life? Taking the ferry to god-knows-where. And maybe... not coming back at all, trapped into a new adventure. Well I wanted this mix to be about that dream, which sometimes is more of a struggle. This thought reminded me of The Truman Show, and thus I added some clips adding to the mix theme.
The mix starts with easy music, then moves to eclectic selection to make some waves. The weather changes a bit and you're getting a bit seasick. But it's not enough to stop you and you hear the call from the ocean :)
As usual I use pieces from video game soundtracks (Oblivion, Age Of Empires, Anodyne, Machinarium) and from tv show (Once Upon a Time... Life). If you are into indie games, I strongly suggest checking out Anodyne, Seagaia being one of the two developpers. Also don't hesitate to listen to friends Shinamo Moki (http://soundcloud.com/shinamomoki).
Thanks for listening and... bon voyage!
