Thanks for all your for all your efforts in putting this mix together. Its years if not decades since I last listened to some of this material.A third volume would be much appreciated. Incidentally, thank you for including a live track (was it from the BBC recording?) from Soft Machine, a hugely under-appreciated and British band, but as influential in their own way as Miles' electric bands of the early 70's.

Great mix. Its years, or rather decades since i last heard many of these brilliant tunes; and of course on vinyl at the time. Thanks for all your efforts in producing this mix, and a volume 3 of fusion/jazz rock would be brilliant. Incidentally, i loved your inclusion of Soft Machine on the first mix, a hugely underrated British Band.

Some great transitions in here, although I like Vol. One more...maybe because it's more Jazz than Fusion! Anyhow...fantastic job Tony! :=

Thank you so much Dick. Always good the hear from you. I’m probably going back to some more straight ahead jazz in the future, but it’s n ice to mix it up occasionally!

In the mid-eighties I had a special predilection for this musical genre. I still consider it exceptional.
Remarkably good sessions, Tony. I like this Vol. 2 more. Alex, my husband, enjoyed Vol. 1.

Thanks for listening Magda. I agree with you (sorry Alex) I prefer vol. 2. It was originally a two hour mix that I split in two, as two hours of fusion can be a little heavy!!

Magda Brand (-ODZLJ)

:-) Alex has not yet listened to vol. 2
