On this episode of Tiny Conversations I talk with Adam Shedletzky - the co-founder of Lead Now, a grassroots political organization, and a law student. Adam and Lead Now have been heavily educating the Canadian Public on the proposed Bill C23 - aka the Fair Elections Act - and why it would be so harmful to democracy in Canada.
In this episode Adam outlines some of the major issues with the Fair Elections Act. The two major issues Adam describes are the potential limitations to student, elderly, and Aboriginal voters, and the crippling restrictions to Elections Canada.
