The Band was awesome, could easily be mistaken for the Beatles,Searchers,Peter and Gordon .For a Canadian band especially from Montereal they were just amazing, and many groups tried copying them in canada...Spent many a great evening with them at live performances in the early days

Ian Howarth

No Time a surprisingly heavy number from what was left of JB & The Playboys. Bill Hill could pick. Guess Who song of same name (but not same tune) was a staple of Canadian radio in the late 60s and early 70s. Stiill gets play on clasic rock FM stations. Too bad the same cannot be said of JB, Carnival Connection et al.

The Sixties

That's the sad state of commercial radio these days. Oldies radio is dead as a format-and it died because programmers played the same 300 songs over and over which burned out the format. Classic rock stations are playing less & less of the 1960's-and what they do play is the really obvious tracks. That's the whole reason behind programs like The Sixties-so that we can keep music like JB & The Playboys rockin'. Thank you very much for your comments.
