My experience was exactly the opposite of Wetton's. I was fanatical about Lark's Tongues (still think the title track part 1 is one of the best things to ever come out of prog), OK with Starless and Bible Black, and very disappointed by Red. I just felt that without Muir and Cross most of the interesting colors of the group were gone.

Really terrific jaunt down memory lane- saw this line-up at Watford Town Hall. Memories of Jamie Muir's set up, & him running about with fake blood coming from his mouth, etc. I would have been about 15 at the time, & was already a huge Crimson fan. Many thanks, Sid.

Fantastic Podcast! Some of the greatest music ever made . Just saw Crimson in Oakland, CA .So listening to this was very timely

Excellent. Reminds me of my long-time gone youth :) Maybe it's because 2/3 - 4/5 of the tracks are on my own record shelf ...

excellent show especially for me as I am a bit of a Crimson novice
