The Jump Joint on the radio is the same great music as our dance night but presented in a radio format. You can listen anytime, so whether you're cooking the Sunday roast, chilling out with a beer or glass of wine or practicing some moves enjoy. "The Jump Joint" is a retro dance night playing mostly 1940's and 50's music to suit dance styles of jive, swing, rock 'n' roll. lindy hop, Charleston Balboa, Shag and more. If you're not a dancer don't worry foot tappers are welcome to chill and enjoy the colourful and vibrant early rhythm & blues, swing and rock 'n' roll music with artists like Big Joe Turner, Louis Jordan, Louis Prima, Wynonie Harris, Ruth Brown, Benny Goodman, Jimmie Lunceford,, Lionel Hampton, Little Richard, Jackie Wilson, Bill Haley and many more.
Most people dress in the style of the forties and fifties and although its encouraged it's not compulsory just be comfortable. "The Jump Joint" usually has live bands with DJ.
