21 year old Tom Leah, aka Werkha is a Manchester based musician, producer and DJ brought up on UK bass, afrobeat, soul, classical, folk and jazz music.

His debut release was the Cube & Puzzle EP in September 2012 (on Cool Kid Music, a label to keep your eye on) which mustered up support from LV, Stubborn Heart, Troy Gunner, Alex Coulton, and Throwing Snow, along with heavy radio support from none other than Gilles Peterson on BBC 6 Music. His music effortlessly blends his disparate influences, through crisp, clean percussion and a creative approach to utilising instruments and vocals. He makes his London debut at our first Chew The Fat! event of 2013, the January Sale at Cable on Friday January 11th, we can't wait to see what he's got in store.
