Rethinking Tolls Around New York

Rethinking Tolls Around New York

The "Move New York Fair Plan" (once known as "congestion pricing") has been introduced as legislation in Albany.
New York State assembly member Robert Rodriguez (D-68th) and Alex Matthiessen, director of the Move New York campaign and president of the Blue Marble Project, explains the latest iteration of the plan to bring tolls in line with easing traffic in and around Manhattan's central business district.
Here are a few of the proposals included in this plan: restore tolls on the four East River bridges and along 60th street; reduce the Triborough Bridge toll by about 50%; reduce express bus fares from $6.50 to $5.50.

@joseapie @MoveNewYork I'd love to know how many people listening to @BrianLehrer right now drove into the CBD. Very few, I suppose.
