Quietus Mix 62: K-X-P Kaukolmapi Apreggio Mix

"There is no better element to reflect futuristic ideas and outer worldly landscapes in electronic music than arpeggio synthesizer. This mix has also heavy new age vibe. Arpeggio got it's esoteric flavors from pioneers like Banū Mūsā, Raymond Scott, Robert Moog, Manuel Gottsching, etc. Music is meditation. Time warp. Altered state of mind. Voice of the immortal soul. Bands that think they "rock" usually fail. For us rock is form of energy that gets released in studio and live situations. Fear and euphoria is good indicator of this "rock" happening. Flames of hell in the eyes of the nerdy boy from next door. There is no beat mixing on this mix. True masters of analog and digital turntables naturally mix the music together. This does not happen naturally in K-X-P world. We rather send stuff to the echo and delay world, adding some noise as "glue" also helps the transitions from one mood to another. Hope you enjoy..."
