A mixture of one liners, sketch, music and the absurd, Seaton Kay-Smith's "Waiting for the Next Apocalypse" looks at our impending oblivion, the problems we face and the problems we can solve while we're waiting for it.
Following the success he found in his split billed show which he shared with fellow comedian, Jazz Twemlow, "Earth May Contain Traces of Human / Where? Why? Where?" which played at the Sydney Fringe 2012, Adelaide Fringe 2013 and Sydney Comedy Festival 2013, this is Seaton Kay-Smith's debut solo show. Originally playing at the Sydney Fringe in 2013 to packed houses.
A writer and performer on ABC2's the Roast, frequent contributor to FBi's A Rational Fear and Backchat, Seaton Kay-Smith has been described as, "As if a Marx Brother shagged Salvidor Dali" (Adelaide Weekend Notes) and according to Sydney Comedian Dave Bloustien, "Has writing skills most comedy veterens would kill for."
