Jilliana's guest today was at the multi talented Liz Eastwood, organiser of the 80 year old West Sussex Writers group based in Goring, West Sussex. Liz told us about her early life moving about in UK, Cyprus and Saudi Arabia. She is a writer, an award winning published poet and singer, songwriter with her musician husband Derek. Her musical choice is 'I want to break free,' 'Feel so near,' 'When all you've got is a hammer,' 'Carey,' 'In my Tennessee mountain home' and 'Wading through the waters of my time.' Liz read her fascinating award winning poem about the rape of a book while Jilliana read her vignette 'Nasima' and 3 poems, 'Bingo linguistics' 'Autumn' and 'Munching chocolate.' Susi, also a Performance Poet read one of her masterpieces! Susi as usual was at the helm. A fun enjoyable programme.
