Have you ever talked with someone who communicates by “talking around and around the bush” before making the point?….and you just want to say, “Come on! Just give me the bottom line answer!” The bottom line answer is that a Lutheran is a Christian – not because they say so but because they look to Jesus alone, the second person of the Triune God, as their Lord and Savior. They believe the “Good News” that through faith in Jesus Christ, as an absolute gift of grace from God Himself, their sins are forgiven and they are made right with God, restored to relationship with Him the way it was meant to be, and given life with Him every day and forever. It’s all about Jesus. It’s all about grace. This is what we explore on this day.
