A Faith that Works!
James 2: 14-26
How can you spot a believer in Christ? One might say that a “true Christian believer has faith.” But what exactly does “faith” look like? How does one give proof that he or she has this thing called “faith?” In the book of James, the apostle tells us that real faith is not something that one simply possesses, but rather something that is exercised in our daily lifestyles. Real faith works and produces results! In fact, James supplies 3 common characteristics of faith that should be evident in a Christ-follower’s life:
1.) Genuine Faith is Not Indifferent—But Involved. (Verses 15-17)
2.) Genuine Faith is Not Invisible—But In View. (Verses 18-19)
3.) Genuine Faith is Not Independent—But
Interdependent. (Verses 20-24)
