In many ways the Book of Hebrews, particularly in Chapters 11 and 12 symbolizes what the Christian life should look like in these perilous days. We are reminded of the early men in world history who walked with God by faith in the Old Testament and encouraged to live a life of radical faith pointing others to Jesus Christ. It also reminds us of the many who suffered scorn, persecution and even death for their faith in Jesus Christ.
