This morning we close out our spring series on the foundations of the Christian faith. Over the past month we've used the outline of the Apostle's Creed to answer the question what is it exactly that Christians believe? We began with a look at who God is. In the words of the creed we see that he is Father, almighty, and the creator of Heaven and Earth. From there we looked at Jesus Christ from whom flows our redemption and hope. Last week we looked at the third member of the trinity: God the Holy Spirit. Having followed the blueprint of the historic creed we are left with one final question. In light of who God is where does that leave us? The creed responds and we'll use that blue print in this sermon to point us to scripture and answer the question who we are as the church.
