“The aim of the mix was to recreate the feeling of a slow awakening – from the first delicate piano chords and ethereal Indian-inspired meditations, through to Latin percussion and African vocal melodies to awaken the senses gradually. The latter half energises through folk, jazz and funk tinged electronica and synth-pop from Europe and Japan.”

Today’s mixtape was curated by Field Trips, a monthly show on Netil Radio via London and Mexico City. They also hold pop-up residencies and events in London and Japan.
