One hundred years of underground sound. Rock, jazz, psych, funk, indie rock, dub, classical, world, metal, ambient and the artists that make Arlington and DC famous. The 08/22/18 edition with special guest Phil Krauth, drummer and songwriter with the Arlington, VA band Unrest.
Phil started his career in the Wakefield High School marching band until the Thirsty Boys came calling for his first recordings. Concurrently he recorded material under the name Clarence, and also started Unrest with Mark Robinson and Tim Moran. Unrest went on to record five albums that helped define "indie rock" in the 1990's, including one of Spin Magazine's top albums of the year with "Imperial f.f.r.r." in 1992.
He has also performed with Flowers of Discipline and Tone. In 1995 he released the first of four solo albums on Teenbeat.
