Yeah, I didn't get the CDC job. That happened last week. Umm. I also received over 25 albums to judge for the annual Dead Albatross prize. That happened too. You just won't hear me mention it at the start of this broadcast, cos I started last week before the formal public announcement of the shortlist. So the representatives from that on this show include - the gothic psych-folk of Cathode Ray Eyes, the mesmerizing patched-up Poe ballads of Annabel (lee), discombobulation from Liberez, ace techno from The Fear Ratio and Perfume Advert, bugged jazz from Michael Valentine West, and the black as blackest gets industrial lost gem that is Bourbonese Qualk. And then there's stuff that isn't on the list at all. Le Butcherettes rule.
