The Weekend starts here . What were you doing in march 1970? The Vietnam war was raging, long haired hippies were tearing up their draft cards in the USA. Meanwhile in blighty the discos of the day were playing Motown, stax and what was to become northern soul and disco. The USA clubs were experimenting with psychedelic soul and African beats join me on the next step on the journey on Thelma FM every Friday at 1.30 - 3.30 pm.
