When I moved to New York City in 1986 I listened every Sunday morning to Hal Jackson's Sunday Morning Classics on WBLS-FM. This playlist brings back memories of that show, a mix of classic soul, rare songs, jazz, some gospel, new songs with a classic sound, always smooth and soulful. Quiet Fire is a great title for this music, and we all can use a little more quiet fire and mellowness in our lives. Thanks for a great playlist!!
