Agreed! Hancock is layin’ it down. That Blues Magoos track with Pee Wee Ellis on tenor sax is really special, too. I gave him a hard copy (original LP) last year. Mr Ellis did so much more than inventing the Funk together with James Brown, which by itself is awesome enough.
