70s Sweet Soul Gems

70s Sweet Soul Gems

Chart positions

This show was 1st in the global vinyl chart, 1st in the global soulful chart and 3rd in the global soul chart.

Musically I found some real Sweetie Pies of SOUL when I was in San Francisco just a few weeks ago. So I‘ve been traveling 18,000 kilometers for (not only) these tunes. You can join the trip for free – isn‘t that something? It took me a while to transfer all these vinyls, but the rest is PURE FUN !!!

E-N-J-O-Y !!!

02 The Voices Of East Harlem - Just Got to Be Myself
03 Elayne Starr - Night After Night
04 The Sylvers - Fool‘s Paradise

The Soul Preacher

right, the sound, the soul, no questions asked ,,, Thanks !!!

DrJazz

A very productive trip & you really did a super job cleaning up that old vinyl. Cheers, DrJ

The Soul Preacher

Thanks a lot DrJazz. I don't have a vinyl washing machine but before I do the transfers I clean them with a soft sponge and warm soap water. Then I place the record with the label on a tumbler until it's dry. A pretty simple and effective procedure unless the record is at least VG+ ,,,

Did you know Lou's version? It's pretty cool as well and it's at 13:10 in this mix:

I bet you'll have FUN comparing the two versions (like I did). So thanks for pointing me at "Mel & Tim"
