When you hear the name Jocelyn Brown, you instantly think " Somebody Elses Guy" "Always There" "Somethings Goin On In My Soul" and "Believe" People tend to forget that Jocelyn Brown had a prolific career over the late 70's and 80's as a featured vocalist and background vocalist with many of the bands that provided the musical backdrop for Studio 54 disco era.
Having worked with Miss Brown for over 10 years, and her being a very dear friend of mine I wanted to compile a selection of my favorite Jocelyn Brown cuts, as many people have no idea about the vast catalog of works this lady has under her belt. Through recording the songs featured on this playlist Jocelyn went on to work sessions with artists like George Benson, Quincy Jones, David Ruffin, Donny Hathaway, Chic, Diana Ross, The Salsoul Orchestra and Kleeer.
You can get the new single "In The Middle" by Jocelyn Brown & Soulpersona out now on iTunes and Amazon mp3 store Worldwide.
