Anthony Parnther is a world-renowned conductor and multi-instrumentalist who specializes in bassoon. He’s the conductor for the Disney+ series The Mandalorian, where he works closely with Ludwig Goransson to bring the composer’s scores to life.

We recently caught up with Anthony, who joined the show from his home studio in Los Angeles. He takes us back to when he first became obsessed with Star Wars, shares some wonderful behind-the-scenes stories about The Mandalorian, and even gives us a sample of his famous bassoon playing!

Anthony then shares some of his favorite music with us in an eclectic guest DJ set that includes classical music from Germany, spirituals from the American South, and- of course- some choice Star Wars gems from throughout the years.
